Dr. LeRoux and his family first moved to the Richmond area in 1992. Due in large part to Dr. LeRoux’s dedication to the practice, FVCOR was named “The Best” in Richmond optometry by The Richmond Times Dispatch in 2015 & 2016. Dr. LeRoux loves his job most when he sees a child for their first eye exam, and they are brought by a parent, who also saw Dr LeRoux for their first exam when they were a kid.
Dr. Daylor was born and raised in the Richmond area. She adores the Glen Allen neighborhood where she lives with her husband and son. Dr. Daylor enjoys vacationing with close friends and family, including a visit to New York City each year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. She has been named one of Richmond Magazine’s “Top Docs'' multiple times, and her outstanding patient care garnered her first place in OurHealth Richmond’s Best Bedside Manner Awards. Dr. Daylor is proud of being part of the team that makes FVCOR the best place in the Richmond area for primary eye care.
Dr. Michaels has lived in the Richmond area since 1999. When not with his work family, Dr. Michaels can be found coaching the mental aspects of sports to college and high level travel and high school sports teams. Dr. Michaels was honored as Virginia’s optometrist of the year (twice) and received the President’s Award (twice) by the American Optometric Association for helping to increase the quality of eye and vision care to patients worldwide. In 2022, Dr Michaels was voted one of Richmond’s Top Doc in the Richmond Magazine Annual Survey. One of Dr. Michaels’ favorite optometry moments occurred on a missions trip when he prescribed a vision and hearing impaired teen her first pair of glasses, allowing her to see clearly for the first time.
Dr. Poling has lived in the Richmond area since 1992. She graduated from Virginia Tech and University of Alabama School of Optometry. She and her husband Jay have 4 “mostly” grown boys. They have recently moved to the Fan to enjoy their empty nest lifestyle! Dr. Poling treasures the moment she administered an inaugural eye exam to a student with severe attention and learning disabilities. Appropriate eye care helped this patient achieve social, emotional, and scholastic wellness.
Dr. Matsko was born in Texas and moved to Glen Allen when she was 8 years old. She graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). She started working at FVCOR when she was 15, and after receiving her training from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, returned to her vision care family at FVCOR.
